Duties of Utility Engineers include PM's, minor plumbing work, pool maintenance work, some painting work, and other miscellaneous duties as directed which are not in direct conflict with tasks performed by Stationary Engineers.
Examples of acceptable minor plumbing work include but are not limited to repair and maintenance of (not replacement of) lavatory and shower faucets, supply lines, dislodging of commodes, working on toilets and urinals, caulking and grouting of tubs, sinks, and tile.
