Field Service Technician I

As a Field Service Technician I, you will provide technical support for Baxter and non–Baxter medical products, ensuring they are ready for patient use through cleaning, disinfection, preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and operational checks.

• Move, inspect, load, and unload medical products at Baxter service centers, healthcare facilities, and private homes.
• Assist with routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on Baxter products.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate repairs needed for equipment.
• Provide on‑call coverage 24/7, including weekends and holidays, with potential customer account visits.
• Demonstrate product use to hospital staff, caregivers, and participants.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following 5S principles.
• Operate company vehicles from cargo vans to 26,000‑pound trucks safely.
• Lift and carry up to 65pounds safely using safe and ergonomic procedures.
• Wear required PPE: safety shoes, eye protection, gloves (latex and non‑latex), and protective clothing.
• Complete all safety and compliance modules and medical testing.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT physical card, required and maintained.
• Possess ability to lift up to 65pounds and operate heavy equipment.

Estimated base salary: $51,200 – $70,400, depending on location and experience.
