Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Technician to support manufacturing and test equipment in a regulated medical device environment. The ideal candidate will perform equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, validation support, and work closely with engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and system-level equipment issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Support IQ/OQ validation activities, data collection, and issue resolution.
  • Work with Equipment Engineering to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Support equipment installation, qualification, and stabilization during new product introduction (NPI).
  • Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and overall manufacturing performance.
  • Update asset records and maintain maintenance history using CMMS.
  • Document maintenance activities and follow GMP and quality procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
Required Qualifications
  • 2 5 years of experience supporting manufacturing or test equipment.
  • Diploma or Associate's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience in medical device, robotics, or other regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Experience supporting IQ/OQ validation activities.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance, CMMS, and equipment documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
