** Pay Rate:*

** What you'll be doing as a Yard Support Associate:*
* + Sorting and separating scrap metals

+ Inspecting incoming public and commercial loads

+ Directing traffic within the yard

+ Unloading and dumping materials and operating basic equipment such as pallet jacks or bailers as needed

+ Associates will help maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all safety procedures and site guidelines

+ This role requires working outdoors in varying weather conditions, standing for extended periods, and performing physical labor including lifting, bending, and moving materials

+ Previous recycling, warehouse, or general labor experience is a plus

** Available shifts:*
* Shift Timings: 1st Shift (Day) and Weekends

* + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready

+ Ability to lift 25-50 lbs consistently throughout the shift

+ Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

+ Able to stand, bend, twist, and walk for extended periods

+ Reliable transportation to and from the jobsite

+ Strong attendance and punctuality record

+ Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

+ Previous experience in recycling, scrap metal, or waste management preferred

+ Knowledge of ferrous vs. non-ferrous metals is a plus

+ Comfortable working around heavy equipment and moving machinery

+ Ability to inspect, sort, and separate materials accurately

+ Experience directing yard traffic or assisting customers preferred

+ Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred for team communication

+ Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

+ Customer service skills (for public drop-off yards)

+ Background Check and Drug test Required
