Dairy Service Support Technician

Overview

This position supports Cencora's distribution services in the United States through its Amerisource Bergen business. The role focuses on building trusted customer relationships, providing preventive maintenance and support for sanitation systems, and ensuring customer success and product adoption.

• Build and maintain trusted customer relationships with integrity, responsiveness, and a strong commitment to customer success.
• Provide preventative maintenance, onsite support, and remote service for sanitation systems and related technologies.
• Optimize system performance and customer value, maximizing system uptime.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, resolving problems and installing parts while performing basic electrical work.
• Complete plumbing‑related service tasks and conduct site assessments to determine appropriate equipment placement.
• Transport and deliver equipment to customer locations.
• Maintain strong knowledge of all products used with the Micro sanitation system, including product applications, indications, concentration ranges, and related information for customer education.
• Configure, maintain, and adjust sanitation system software per customer specifications.
• Perform standard operational tests in accordance with established protocols.
• Follow standardized checklists and create, update, or revise standard operating procedures as needed.
• Train customer staff on system operation, inventory control procedures, and best practices.
• Provide ongoing education to customer management teams on new Micro products, programs, and solutions to support increased product adoption and sales growth.
• Collaborate with Program Development and sales teams to create customer product plans that support territory revenue growth.
• Clearly communicate processes, updates, and changes to customers and internal team members.
• Prepare, complete, and maintain all required documentation related to service, maintenance, and customer support activities.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Perform other job‑related duties as assigned.

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent, knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, welding and fabrication, experience with power tools and voltage meters, ability to read electrical diagrams, computer skills including Microsoft Office and basic software, proficiency in English, strong customer service skills with a sense of urgency, driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL license is a plus).

Experience and understanding of dairy operations is helpful. Experience with use of power tools, volt meters, ability to read electrical diagrams, setting up computer programs, and following instructions.

Position requires frequent standing, listening/hearing, hand/eye/foot coordination, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift 75–100 pounds regularly. Mathematics skills: ability to resolve practical problems using percentages and formulas, interpret quantitative data, and express ideas verbally and in writing.

Position requires constant standing, frequent walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, and repetitive motions. Must be able to lift 75 to 100 pounds regularly; occasional sitting, talking, and grasping. Occasional crawling or feeling rarely required.
