Salary: $17.50 – $18.50 hourly

Position:
Form & Functions Member – Reports to Form & Functions Manager

Minimum Requirements:

High School Degree or higher; 2 years of general maintenance experience.

Schedule:

Determined by the Form & Functions Manager; emergency coverage as needed.

Summary / Objective

The Form & Functions Member will be responsible for ensuring proper completion of all maintenance duties for the hotel. This includes scheduled preventative maintenance, deep cleaning projects, and maintaining the proper appearance of the property from entrance to roof.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure proper completion of maintenance duties.
  • Direct maintenance activities of the hotel's facilities, including deep cleaning of guest rooms, maintenance of public areas, and back‑of‑house areas.
  • Follow the scheduled preventative maintenance binder.
  • Maintain the appearance of the hotel from entrance to roof, coordinating public area upkeep, parking, landscaping, service, and trash areas, and exterior of buildings.
  • Act as Manager on Duty (MOD) when scheduled.
  • Convey the hotel's unique concept by maintaining quality and integrity of the product appearance and utility.
  • Be knowledgeable of current safety practices, laws, and OSHA standards.
  • Attend monthly safety meetings.
  • Send end‑of‑day activity and accomplishment emails to the Form & Functions Manager and Xperience Manager.
  • Use the property management system and understand all hotel operating procedures.
  • Adhere to all existing and new policies pertaining to the maintenance department.
  • Read front office communication logs daily when applicable and inform the manager of any unique or unusual situations.
  • Be willing and able to work any shift and fill in when other employees cannot work their scheduled shift.
  • Know room types and supply standards.
  • Open and close rooms as required for maintenance.
  • Maintain functional security cameras.
  • Drive the shuttle on an emergency basis.
  • Maintain cleanliness in and around trash areas; clean pool and balance chemicals; remove snow when applicable.
