The Reserve at Fountaingrove Memory Care, located in Santa Rosa CA is seeking a professional, and customer-oriented Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance, repairs, and safety compliance for our community.

Maintenance Director (Physical Plant Director) Responsibilities- Exhibits leadership qualities and communicates professionally with employees, residents, family members, responsible parties, and other healthcare professionals.
- Manages the day‑to‑day maintenance and operational needs of a 24/7 senior living community.
- Oversees and manages the proper operation of all equipment, mechanical, and grounds systems.
- Implements preventative and predictive maintenance for the physical plant and community vehicles as scheduled and needed.
- Ensures that the property grounds are regularly monitored for the safety and well‑being of residents, employees, and visitors.
- Manages the housekeeping department.
- Is responsible for scheduling staff, supply purchasing, budgetary forecasting, and compliance.
- Coordinates and documents the community Safety Committee meetings.
- Plans, budgets, and schedules modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs.
- Ensures residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
- Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
- Completes state‑required training upon hire and annually.
- Participates in new employee orientation and monthly in‑services.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years of hands‑on maintenance or facility operations experience in a multi‑residence, senior living, memory care, or healthcare setting preferred.
- Basic technical and mechanical ability to perform routine maintenance and repair on electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and building systems commonly used in senior living communities.
- Knowledge of fire, safety, and state regulatory requirements
, including routine safety checks and compliance standards. - Ability to work with outside vendors
, oversee contracted work, and ensure timely completion of repairs and inspections. - Basic computer skills for work orders, documentation, and communication.
- Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.
- Ability to work safely and respectfully around residents living with dementia
. - State criminal background check and LIC 508 Criminal Record Statement.
- LIC 503 Health Screening Report.
- Full Time — Schedule includes some weekends and holidays.
