Hire Now Staffing is actively recruiting an Advanced Semiconductor Equipment Reliability & Process Maintenance Specialist to join one of our valued client partners in Santa Rosa, California
. This permanent night shift opportunity is designed for an experienced maintenance professional who thrives in highly technical manufacturing environments supporting advanced semiconductor fabrication equipment.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in maintaining production uptime by troubleshooting, repairing, optimizing, and improving sophisticated electro-mechanical manufacturing systems. Working alongside equipment engineers, process engineers, production personnel, and external vendors, this individual will help ensure manufacturing reliability while supporting both production operations and continuous process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose, repair, maintain, and optimize advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on electro-mechanical production systems.
- Troubleshoot high-vacuum equipment, precision manufacturing systems, RF technologies, and automated process tools.
- Partner with Process Engineering and Equipment Engineering teams to maximize equipment performance and manufacturing efficiency.
- Support production and research activities through rapid equipment troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with equipment suppliers to obtain replacement components and schedule technical service support.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and legacy equipment retirement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance procedures, repair documentation, and technical work instructions.
- Participate in equipment improvement projects that enhance reliability, automation, and manufacturing performance.
- Maintain safe work practices while supporting high-volume semiconductor fabrication operations.
- 5–7 years of maintenance experience supporting complex manufacturing equipment or industrial production systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot sophisticated electro-mechanical equipment independently.
- Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, equipment diagnostics, and root cause analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and technical documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Permanent availability for night shift operations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
- U.S. citizens only.

- Previous semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment maintenance experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related technical discipline.
- Military electronics or advanced technical maintenance training.
- Experience with high‑vacuum systems, deposition equipment, etching technologies, or RF power systems.
- Knowledge of semiconductor process equipment, automation systems, and precision manufacturing technologies.
- Experience working across electrical, mechanical, software, and materials science disciplines.
- Stable employment history demonstrating continued technical growth and increasing maintenance responsibilities.
- Compensation: $67,030–$111,720 annually
