SUMMARY

The Facilities Associate is responsible for supporting the maintenance, safety, and functionality of CCNB facilities. This role, under the direction of the Operations Coordinator, helps ensure that work spaces, equipment, and grounds are maintained in a safe, organized, and operational condition for staff and corps members. The Facilities Associate performs routine inspections, conducts repairs and maintenance, and coordinates with staff and vendors to address facility needs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections of CCNB facilities and report safety concerns or repair needs to leadership
  • Perform general repair and maintenance related to CCNB facilities
  • Perform minor maintenance services and repairs in areas including plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical systems, HVAC, and general cleaning
  • Maintain landscaping and exterior areas as required
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and work spaces in a safe and organized manner
  • Develop and maintain effective, friendly, and professional working relationships with staff, corps members, and vendors
  • Coordinate with outside service providers when specialized maintenance or repairs are required
  • Support general facility upkeep to ensure safe and functional work environments
  • Other duties as assigned
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The Facilities Associate works outdoors around equipment and machinery, walking on uneven ground and steep hillsides, with exposure to excessive noise, fumes and extremes in temperature.

They may be expected to lift and move objects weighing up to 75 lbs and carry objects at least ½ mile. This position frequently uses special visual and auditory protective equipment. While performing the duties of this position, the Facilities Associate is required to walk and stand; sit and bend; squat and climb; kneel and twist; to talk and hear.

This position uses hands to operate objects, tools, or controls; and reaches with hands and arms. This position uses hands to perform simple and power grasping, and fine manipulation; to push and pull.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

The Facilities Associate position is an hourly, full-time, non-exempt position which is eligible for a full benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, Chiropractic, 403(b) retirement plan, and generous PTO). Starting pay is $23.00 per hour ($).
