Overview

St. Thomas More Parish is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Associate to assist with general maintenance for parish buildings and property.

Job Responsibilities

Responsible for maintenance of buildings and grounds.
Set up and break down events and meetings.
Performs general maintenance regarding walls, doors, carpets, tile and minor repairs of electrical, air conditioning, plumbing.
Replace light bulbs, filters, ceiling tiles, light ballasts.
Lockdown facilities at the end of the day.
Observe and promote safe work practices and procedures by following local, state, and OSHA regulations.
Other tasks as assigned.

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have basic maintenance skills.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors.
Self-motivated individual able to work independently.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to climb, bend, kneel, twist, push, pull continuously throughout day.
Must work on weekends.
Valid driver's license.
Must pass Level II FDLE background check.
Must pass a DOV assigned post offer physical exam.
