The Maintenance Technician will perform quality routine and preventive maintenance and repairs across several buildings and properties to ensure a safe environment for all. Pay is dependent upon experience and credentials.
Core Functions Overview- Perform quality routine, preventive, and emergency maintenance and repairs in Sarasota (building and equipment)
- Troubleshoot and repair building and facility equipment
- Ensure safety of work area and equipment
- Assist with grounds maintenance
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Minimum five years of multi-faceted property maintenance experience required
CompetenciesWorking knowledge of general building systems
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
Effective time management and adaptability in changing environments
Experience with facilities databases and Outlook
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Work Environment / Physical ExpectationsFrequent standing, walking, lifting, climbing, kneeling, squatting, and use of maintenance tools
Ability to lift and move materials and equipment
Exposure to varying indoor and outdoor environments year-round
