At Rosewood Residences Lido Key, the Engineering team is essential to maintaining the integrity, safety, and performance of all building systems and resident-facing facilities. This role works closely with on-site leadership, including the Director of Residences/Property Manager, and collaborates with Housekeeping, Security, and external contractors to ensure seamless operations and exceptional standards.

As a Residences Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation, safety, and maintenance of all building systems and facilities. Through a hands-on and service-oriented approach, you will help deliver a flawless residential experience by maintaining the property to the highest standards of luxury and functionality.

You will support both operational excellence and resident satisfaction by responding to service requests, maintaining equipment, and proactively identifying and addressing maintenance needs. Your work will directly contribute to the overall performance, safety, and long-term value of the property.

Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance

Respond promptly to resident service requests and emergency maintenance needs with professionalism and urgency

Conduct routine inspections of common areas, equipment rooms, and building systems to maintain operational excellence

Monitor and maintain building automation and energy management systems

Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure quality work aligned with luxury standards

Support safety protocols and compliance with building codes, fire life safety, and company policies

You have a strong technical understanding of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical equipment

You are hands-on, proactive, and skilled at troubleshooting and problem-solving independently

You thrive in a service-focused environment and take pride in delivering timely and professional support

You remain organized, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure

You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with team members and external partners
