Position: Line Cook (Part-time)
Heritage Inn Hotel & Convention Centre in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan is hiring!
What You Will Do:
Prepare food orders as quickly and efficiently as possibleKeep work area stocked, organized, and clean at all timesEnsure work areas and equipment are kept functional and orderly at all times, reporting any deficiencies as necessaryPrepare and issue products requested by requisition for other departmentsEnsure fridges, freezers, storerooms, and areas where food is stored are kept secureStay up to date on soup of the day, specials, or functions and prepare accordinglyAssist with the receiving and proper storage of all deliveriesPerform any other job-related duties assigned by the supervisorWe Are Looking For Someone Who:
Cares about their professional appearance and follows uniform and dress code standardsWorks cooperatively with othersKnows how to operate and perform routine maintenance on equipment located in the kitchenApplies safe work practicesIs able to perform efficiently under pressure and within time restraintsIs able to work shift and weekend workSkill Requirements:
Previous experience in the food industry is an asset (2 years or more preferred)Knowledge of and experience with Canadian cuisine is an assetExcellent communication skillsGreat organizational skillsMust have the ability to handle and solve customer related concerns and report to supervisor, as necessaryKnowledge of WHMIS programFood Safe Level I certificate is requiredOther:
