Overview

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on ABF equipment as well as other assigned duties. Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location.

• Adapt to the duties and schedule requirements that vary by terminal location.

• 2 years of verifiable Tractor/Trailer maintenance experience. Other applicants with the proper vocational training will be considered.
• Good previous work and work attendance record.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and post-offer company physical.
• Be available to work ANY SHIFT ANY DAY.
• Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends. Being able to work the required hours at this location will be considered a minimum requirement.

• Wages - Teamster or Machinist Union Scale.

This is a hourly position paid weekly. In accordance with the Illinois Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the pay for this position will be $31.82 an hour, 4 or more years of experience pay will be $33.66 an hour.
