2nd Shift Maintenance Technician

Job Overview

Precision Edge Surgical Products Company LLC is part of Marmon Holdings, backed by Berkshire Hathaway. This role focuses on machine shop equipment maintenance and repair across the facility.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years experience operating and/or repairing machine shop equipment (CNC lathes, grinders, mills, etc.).
• Experience with PLCs, Fanuc, and Mitsubishi controllers.
• Strong electromechanical background preferred.
• FLSA status: hourly non-exempt.
• Reports to Facility Engineer.

• Ability to lift 125 pounds with assistance.
• Exceptional ability to solve problems and apply problem‑solving logic efficiently.
• Must have a strong sense of urgency and ability to quickly evaluate problems and generate solutions.
• Ability to deal with stressful situations in a calm and controlled manner.
• Must be able to take direction and work effectively with people.
• Must be available for all shifts and on call as required.
• Ability to stand for extended periods (8–10 hours or more) and perform frequent bending and twisting.

• Repairs and maintains all plant equipment.
• Assists in prioritizing daily work schedules in conjunction with the Facility Engineer and Operations team.
• Responds to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
• Coordinates with plant personnel, minimizing downtime for repairs.
• Performs facility maintenance, including upkeep of the facility and grounds.
• Researches and orders spare parts to expedite machine repair and keep costs under control.
• Provides training and technical guidance to maintenance personnel as required.

$21.50/hr Base Wage. Additional compensation based on experience.
