Lead Floor Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Floor Technician to clean and maintain floors. Must be available to work 3pm-11:30pm. Pay rate $19.00/hr.

• Clean and maintain buildings/facilities.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Notify manager regarding the need for repairs or additions to building operating systems.
• Establish effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers.
• Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures.
• Complete assigned stripping, waxing, buffing, scrubbing, refinishing, sealing, and spot cleaning of floors.
• Assist with special projects within the account as needed and be willing to complete other duties as assigned.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance to all equipment and facilities.
• Adhere to safety measures in work areas.
• Assist in emergencies as needed.

Required:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available.
• No experience required; on‑job training will be provided.
• High school diploma, GED, or college degree not required.

Preferred:

• Customer service experience.
• 1 year of similar work experience.
