To ensure that all school facilities, grounds, and building systems are maintained in a safe, sanitary, and operational condition in accordance with Board policy, administrative regulations, and applicable local, state, and federal requirements, including NJQSAC standards.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Valid New Jersey driver's license required
• Black Seal Fireman's License preferred or ability to obtain within one (1) year
• CDL with appropriate endorsements preferred or ability to obtain
• Demonstrated experience in building maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or related trades
• Knowledge of occupational safety practices (PEOSH/OSHA), Right-to-Know, and safe equipment operation
• Criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status

• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and in confined spaces
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environmental conditions

Duties include Facilities Maintenance & Repairs, Mechanical Systems & Preventive Maintenance, Grounds & Exterior Maintenance, Custodial Support & Sanitation, Equipment, Inventory & Asset Control, Work Orders, Inspections & Compliance, Coordination & Operational Support.
