Aramark Facilities Management is hiring Sanitation Technicians to support a food production facility in Savannah, GA.

This hands‑on cleaning role involves keeping production equipment and facility areas clean, safe, and compliant with food safety standards. The technician will clean machinery, production spaces, and surfaces using power washers and approved cleaning chemicals.

The position is ideal for candidates with experience in custodial, janitorial, warehouse, or industrial cleaning environments who seek steady daytime work.

Key focus areas are cleaning and sanitizing equipment, production areas, and facility spaces to meet strict food safety standards in a structured, safety‑centric environment.

Pay starts at $16.99/hour with a raise after 90 days.

Shift schedule: four 10‑hour days with 3 days off, typically beginning at 3 am.

Full‑time schedule with paid vacation and holidays.

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including alignment with OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment to project safety and health for others.
• Accurately maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive guest‑service demeanor toward guests, clients, and co‑workers.
• Adaptable to guests’ needs.

This role may involve lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing. Uniforms and/or personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required.
