Dedicated Advanced Service Technician

This role is responsible for the continued maintenance and repair of the Race Trac Travel Center and/or EDO stores they are designated. The individual assesses, develops protocol, and maintains the appearance to ensure operability of the store at all times.

Location:

1780 Dean Forest Rd, Garden City, GA 31408.

• Resolve maintenance and service issues at the Race Trac Travel Center to ensure full operability 24/7, ultimately increasing the profitability of the company.
• Treatment of stained areas with chemical degreaser and complete pressure washes sections of the store each day.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, and all other work areas.
• Maintain all trash on site during shift.
• Ensure each job is performed at a high level of skill with optimal customer service.
• Serve as a knowledge expert in general maintenance functions including HVACR, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, food service/beverage amenities, and petroleum dispensing systems.
• Accurately maintain equipment, tools, and inventory on site.
• Provide project support to cross‑functional departments for initiatives related to stores.
• Respond to additional ad hoc maintenance requests communicated from store personnel as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of local and state guidelines for facility services as necessary.
• Perform other work‑related duties as assigned.
• Work with other ASTs to cross‑train in multiple trades.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and repeatedly bend, stand, and reach while on the job.

• General maintenance knowledge and repair procedures.
• Ability to use common tools and office equipment.
• Food and Beverage equipment repair knowledge (preferred).
• Fuel dispenser and pump repair knowledge (preferred).
• Technical school training in HVACR or electrical (preferred).
• Experience in a retail maintenance environment (preferred).
• Basic Microsoft Office knowledge.
• 4+ years work experience (preferred).
