Maintenance Technician

The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is seeking a motivated, energetic Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Department and be responsible for the upkeep and repair of the hotel’s physical structure, equipment, and grounds.

• Perform maintenance and repairs and preventative maintenance in all areas of the hotel.
• Service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned.
• Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day.
• Visually inspect public areas and the overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and safeguard the hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests; practice chemical safety rules and follow procedures for needles and other hazardous materials.
• Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Manager.
• Follow all Lost and Found protocols.
• Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with guests.
• Order supplies, receive daily instructions, and read equipment manuals including safety information.

• Positive energy and readiness to assist fellow support staff as a team player.
• Prior maintenance experience is preferred.
• Good communication and multitasking skills.
• Ability to assist in all maintenance duties.
• Additional education, training, or certification is preferred.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, ascend, reach, push, pull, or lift frequently and for extended periods.
