Salary Range: $20.00 To $20.00 Annually

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Responsible for completing daily work assignment primarilyrelated to floor care.

Instruct floortechnicians on proper floor care. Assist with ongoing training of employees for continued high quality performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide Floor Technicians assignments on floors: buffing,stripping, waxing, scrubbing and shampooing.

Check building for floor care and report findings to supervisor for scheduling.

Assure that floors are maintained, utilizing proceduresoutlined in procedures, such as dust mopping, waxing, scrubbing, buffing,stripping, sweeping etc.

Make sure Floor Technicians use safety and know the properuse of all equipment.

Keep inventory of all equipment and its location.

Keep inventory of floor care products and supplies.

Maintain and service vehicles.

Continuous hands on training to develop the skill andability of workers, increasing effectiveness and improvements of techniques and procedures.

Secure facility, shut off lights and provide dailyinspection reports.

Report any malfunctions on equipment and vehicles.

Accomplishes organization mission by completing relatedassignments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED

High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience in floorcare.

Supervisory experience preferred.

Must be able to meet all required security clearances anddrug test.

Must be able to read, understand and follow directions.

Ability to work flexible hours.

Ability to plan, organize and schedule effectively.

Proven knowledge of floor care tasks/skills.

Proven operation knowledge of equipment necessary to perform job functions, such as a high speed buffer, extractor, wet vac, pressure washer, auto scrubber.
