General Maintenance Technician

As a General Maintenance Technician at ABM, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure of our varied client sites across the US. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all operational facilities are in optimal working condition to support our clients' diverse needs in janitorial, energy solutions, and parking operations. Your technical skills and proactive approach will ensure that maintenance tasks are executed efficiently and effectively, enhancing client satisfaction and the integrity of their facilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance and repairs on all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs or preventative maintenance when required.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and operational issues.
• Coordinate with facility management and other team members to efficiently address any identified issues.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Respond quickly in the case of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol.
• Conduct performance assessments of systems, analyzing data to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations.

Required Skills
