Lead Housekeeper II

As a Lead Housekeeper II, you’ll join a dedicated and enthusiastic team responsible for maintaining a beautiful private residential property associated with the university in historic Savannah. You’ll help ensure each residence is exceptionally clean, organized, and welcoming, creating a comfortable and memorable experience for guests and residents.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with a strong commitment to discretion and confidentiality. You’ll interact professionally with guests, residents, vendors, and university colleagues while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and service.

• Thoroughly clean and maintain all interior spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing
• Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and welcoming environment
• Wash, iron, fold, and care for clothing, linens, and other household textiles
• Properly care for delicate materials and follow specific care instructions for high-end fabrics, furnishings, and finishes
• Conduct regular inspections of the residence to identify maintenance needs and coordinate necessary repairs or services
• Perform minor household repairs and maintenance as appropriate and coordinate with professional service providers when needed
• Assist with maintaining household organization and preparing spaces for guests and special occasions

• Greet visitors and guests, provide refreshments, and help ensure their comfort throughout their stay
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for events, gatherings, and household needs
• Assist with planning and preparing meals according to household preferences and requirements
• Maintain appropriate kitchen supplies and ensure the kitchen is clean, organized, and well stocked
• Care for household pets, including feeding, walking, and cleaning up after one small dog
• Assist with packing and unpacking for travel
• Support transportation needs as requested, including driving household members to appointments, social engagements, and other destinations
• Maintain assigned vehicles in a clean and orderly condition and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
