Vice President of Accounting

A large, global, services-driven organization with a strong growth and acquisition strategy is seeking a senior accounting leader to help drive consistency, rigor, and scalability across its accounting operations. The company operates across multiple regions and complex customer contracts, creating meaningful technical and operational accounting challenges.

This role partners closely with the Chief Accounting Officer and technical accounting leadership to translate complex accounting conclusions into disciplined, executable processes across the business. The focus is on revenue execution, global accounting consistency, and building scalable processes that support continued growth.

• Lead end-to-end accounting execution across domestic and international operations
• Apply senior-level judgment to complex accounting areas including revenue recognition, estimates, reserves, leases, and non-routine transactions
• Own revenue accounting execution, including contract intake, booking discipline, and percentage-of-completion methodologies
• Provide oversight and direction to international accounting teams to ensure consistent global execution
• Oversee global lease accounting under ASC 842 and drive standardization across regions
• Identify execution gaps, accounting risks, and process breakdowns and lead targeted improvements
• Build and scale accounting processes to support growth, acquisitions, and increasing operational complexity
• Serve as a key partner to external auditors on operational and execution-related matters

• CPA required
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience with senior leadership responsibility
• Strong background in revenue recognition and global lease accounting
• Experience leading complex, multi-entity and international accounting operations
• Proven ability to design, implement, and enforce scalable accounting processes
• Confident, pragmatic leader who can partner cross-functionally and influence outcomes
