Technical Accounting Manager

A large, global, growth-oriented organization in the services and technology space is building out its technical accounting function. With a strong acquisition strategy and an established leadership team, this company offers both stability and exposure to complex, high-impact accounting work.

This role sits within the technical accounting and reporting group and partners closely with accounting leadership, FP&A, corporate development, HR, and external auditors. The focus is on complex accounting areas tied to acquisitions, equity compensation, and judgment-heavy reporting matters under U.S. GAAP.

• Lead and support purchase accounting for acquisitions, including ASC 805 analysis, memos, and measurement period adjustments
• Own technical accounting research and documentation for complex or non-routine transactions
• Support equity and stock-based compensation accounting under ASC 718
• Assist with financial reporting, including footnotes and cash flow analysis
• Partner with cross-functional teams on transaction support and accounting implications
• Support audit requests and contribute to public-company readiness initiatives

• High exposure to M&A and complex technical accounting issues
• Direct partnership with senior accounting leadership
• Broad scope across technical accounting, reporting, and close-related matters
• Strong runway for growth in a well-established but evolving organization

• CPA required
• 5–8 years of experience (public accounting and/or technical accounting)
• Strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, especially ASC 805 and ASC 718
• Experience preparing technical accounting memos and working with auditors
