Accounting Analyst
📍 Schaumburg, Illinois (100% Onsite)
💰 $75,000 – $82,000
Our client, is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join their close-knit accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with general ledger accounting experience who enjoys financial analysis, problem-solving, and working in a collaborative environment. Insurance industry experience is required but statutory reporting can be learned.

- Reconcile bank, investment, and general ledger accounts
- Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting
- Support statutory and NAIC reporting
- Analyze account activity and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with audits, fixed assets, and special projects
- Provide backup support to the Bookkeeper
- Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of accounting experience
- Insurance industry experience required
- General ledger, reconciliations, and financial reporting experience
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative
