Assignment Type: 3-month contract with the possibility of extensions
Compensation: $27.00 - $29.00 / Hourly depending on relevant experience

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to support the day-to-day accounts receivable operations for a growing organization. This role will be responsible for managing cash applications, account reconciliations, collections, deductions research, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments.
Key Responsibilities- Process and apply customer payments accurately and timely.
- Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding customer balances.
- Research and resolve payment issues, short pays, deductions, and unapplied cash.
- Collaborate with customers and internal departments to resolve billing and payment disputes.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation.
- Prepare AR reports and assist with month-end close activities.
- Support cash forecasting by providing updates on collection activity.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Collections, or Credit experience.
- Strong understanding of AR processes, account reconciliations, and collections.
- Experience researching and resolving deductions, chargebacks, and payment discrepancies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
