Location: Schaumburg, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation: $95,000–$110,000 + Bonus
A growing organization in the Schaumburg area is seeking a Cost Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys digging into the details, improving processes, and making an impact within a growing business.
The Cost Accountant will play a key role in developing and enhancing costing processes, supporting financial analysis, and partnering with leadership to improve visibility into business performance. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of important initiatives while building a long-term career within the organization.

- Develop, maintain, and improve cost accounting processes and procedures
- Analyze product costs, margins, variances, and operational performance
- Support inventory costing, reporting, and financial analysis
- Prepare cost reports and provide insights to management
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve accuracy and efficiency
- Assist with month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years of cost accounting or manufacturing accounting experience
- Strong understanding of inventory, costing methodologies, and financial analysis
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with teams across the organization
