The Controller is a full-time, on-site role based in Schaumburg, IL. This role oversees all accounting operations, including general ledger management, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and month-end and year-end close processes. The Controller prepares and analyzes financial statements, budgets, and forecasts, and ensures compliance with GAAP and relevant regulatory requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring cash flow, reconciling accounts, reviewing transactions, maintaining internal controls, and supporting audits.

The Controller partners with leadership to provide financial insights, improve processes, and support strategic decision-making for the technology and contracting operations.

• Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, job-costing, financial statement preparation, and GAAP compliance.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support business decisions.
• Proficiency with accounting and ERP software, Microsoft Excel, and related financial tools.
• Knowledge of internal controls, audit processes, and applicable tax and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with leadership, operations, and project teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines consistently.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
• Experience as a Controller or Accounting Manager, ideally within construction, contracting, or technology services, is beneficial.

Base Salary Range: $150,000 per year
