Dayton Roger's Contract is a leading contracting company in Dayton, OH. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to handle a variety of tasks with accuracy and efficiency. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth within the company.

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements
• Prepare and distribute invoices
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Monitor and track expenses, ensuring they are within budget
• Communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment inquiries
• Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
• Prepare and submit tax forms and other government filings
• Provide support to the accounting team as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of GAAP and basic accounting principles
• Experience with payroll processing and tax filings is a plus
