Senior Accountant

IFG is partnering with a family office in the northern suburbs of Chicago looking for a Senior Accountant. This is not your typical role within a corporate setting because this role will get you involved in all aspects of the business including monthly accounting close, budgeting/forecasting, financial reporting, acquisitions, and more. The role reports to the CFO so nobody better to learn from for mentorship and development purposes.

You will for sure have a seat at the table!

They are 5 days onsite to make sure you are side by side with the CFO and other leaders within the company.

Compensation is $85K - $95K base.

• Monthly Financial close and reporting related to all investments.
• Bank account reconciliations.
• Real Estate Investment support – preparation of financial statements.
• Payroll for Family office.
• Taxes:
  Gather all information needed for annual tax filings for all Entities and Family Trusts.
• Coordinate and prepare all documents required for the Annual Audit.
• Businesses are audited individually and lead person on each is the respective Business Controllers.
• Annual Budgeting
• Participate with budgets for the operating businesses as needed.
• Manage related party loans.
• Cash Management and Treasury duties for Family Office and the Operating Businesses.
• Assist with various reporting and project related tasks as needed.

• 7+ years' of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
