The Role
The Part Time Membership and Operations Coordinator supports the Assistive Technology Industry Association (ATIA) through a variety of projects, products and educational offerings.
This is a part-time role (20 hours per week), Monday through Friday, with occasional travel required a couple times per year.
Responsibilities- Process membership applications, renewals and refunds via Word Press Database
- Update and maintain the membership database
- Manage and produce membership dashboard and reports
- Disseminate renewals, new member packages, welcome letters and confirmation of renewal
- Develop an understanding of technology and software platforms
- Merge and distribute all membership emails in conjunction with marketing
- Manage weekly allocations and distribute across the team to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate zoom calls, activities and projects for the Board of Directors and member committees
- Set-up and manage the scholarship program
- Collaborate with the education team to support the virtual event both in planning and on-site.
- Provide Learning Center Support by pulling monthly reports, track invoicing and providing contact information to marketing
- Manage email inbox for CEUs, Learning Center, Conference, Membership and information
- Provide customer support for event registration.
- Create and execute zoom/webinar conference orientations held throughout the year
- Post all recordings, handouts, captioning files to the virtual event
- Order awards for outgoing board members and education related awards
- As a team player, collaborate, communicate and coordinate information across the team
- 2-3 years professional work experience including project management, customer service and administration.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite;
Adobe:
Word Press, Zoom, LMS, survey tools, willingness to learn new web-based programs. - Professionalism:
Good judgement, ability to interact with all levels of staff and vendors, appropriate demeanor and appearance, confidence. - Customer service attitude and skills:
Team player attitude, commitment, patience, enthusiasm, creativity, listening, comprehension, initiative, cooperation, attention to detail, resourcefulness. - Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects/priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team-oriented, proactive, and detail-focused.
- Open to traveling out of state and staying overnight up to twice a year, using various modes of transportation such as cars, planes, or trains.
- Physical: primarily a desk-based role, requiring extended computer use. Work involves sitting, talking, hearing, and typing, with visual acuity required for keyboard usage, data analysis, and computer terminal operation. Occasional light lifting may be necessary. Compensation- $26.45 -$28.85 per hour. Within this range, individual pay is determined by relevant factors, including job-related skills, experience, market data, work location, and education or training.
