Napleton's Schaumburg Buick GMC is looking for a knowledgeable and customer-focused Automotive Dealership Parts Counterman to join our team. The Parts Counterman is the backbone of our service operation — ensuring technicians and customers have the right parts at the right time. • Assist service technicians and retail customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their vehicles
• Track all incoming and outgoing parts inventory for the dealership
• Locate and source available parts when dealership stock is depleted
• Handle parts payment collection and ensure all parts are correctly billed through the service department
• Package and ship parts back to the manufacturer when required and complete appropriate recordkeeping
• Refer to parts manuals (both printed and electronic) to identify the correct parts by make, model, and year
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient parts counter and stockroom
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal departments

• At least 1 year of experience in an automotive parts sales or dealership parts department role
• Familiarity with dealership parts management software;
  Tekion experience is a plus
• Strong computer proficiency and organizational skills
• Team-oriented, flexible, and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency

• Valid driver's license (required)
• Authorized to work in the USA
• Ability to pass background check, MVR, and drug test
