JOB DESCRIPTION
The mission this summer is to build an innovative product from the ground up. You will work with a small, cross‑functional team over 3 months to discover, develop and validate a business case through design research and competitive analysis. Get out of the building and engage your customers. Uncover their pains, gains, and jobs‑to‑be‑done, and rapidly prototype solutions. Use real insights to drive your technical architecture, assess feasibility and build a scalable solution for a validated problem.
Continuously improve your value proposition, business model, and go‑to‑market strategy, and prepare to launch a functional MVP before the end of the summer.
You should be a natural collaborator, bridging the gap between technical constraints and user needs. Most importantly, you possess the communication skills to articulate the why behind your decisions, ensuring everyone remains aligned as you move from concept to launch. Over the summer, you will:
- Learn how to translate user needs into intuitive product experiences.
- Define, document, and communicate requirements for product initiatives and releases.
- Collaborate with your team to prioritize product enhancements.
- Navigate diverse perspectives and build consensus around a shared product vision.
- Develop the confidence to take new ideas from concept to reality.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Product Management or related field, from a top‑tier university/college, or able to demonstrate significant professional work experience.
- Open minded, curious learner, and comfortable with ambiguity.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Depth of skill in product management with the patience and willingness to collaborate across other disciplines.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, biased towards action, comfortable with fast‑paced environment. Startup experience is a plus.
- You must be fully available—onsite—from June 1 2025 through 28 August 2025.
- Competitive salary based on experience.
- Opportunities for travel.
- Social and team‑building events, like K1-Speed, rock‑climbing, and more.
- Fully stocked kitchen with assorted drinks & snacks.
- Professional development through mentors, training, and networking.
- Future opportunities—simplified pathway to employment.
