$125,000 - $135,000/Annually Plus Benefits
The Product Manager is responsible for driving category growth through product planning and product marketing. You will work closely with different teams to create and execute marketing initiatives that resonate with the target market and increase sales. You will also be tasked with developing budgets, forecasting sales figures, and assessing KPIs and ROI.
Responsibilities- Define the product strategy, roadmap and develop timelines
- Deliver MRDs and PRDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification
- Source factories and products
- Negotiate product pricing with manufacturing, manage those relationships to ensure on-time delivery of quality products
- Manage factory relationships to ensure on-time, quality production and delivery
- Direct new product launches by channel, coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure optimized shelf placement and merchandising support.
- Set programs and pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals while managing budget
- Assess partnerships, licensing and branding opportunities and make recommendations to management
- Develop sales tools and collateral
- Attend product line reviews and contribute technical assistance to salespeople in support of sales effort
- Brief and train the sales force at intercompany meetings and oversee a product coordinator
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or other relevant areas
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant product development/marketing experience with durable goods or CPG products in a technical space
- Experienced in project management and able to lead cross functional teams consisting of both internal and external suppliers with a focus on working well with design and engineering
- Experience with channel management
- Proven track record of performance in an organization that is regarded for superior products/services
- Strong culture and team development, including leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong collaboration and influencing skills across internal/external functions
- Excellent organizational, ability to prioritize, excellent project management skills, and solid financial acumen
