Overview

Sr. Manager, Operations Finance, Supply Chain & Procurement role within the Business Performance Team. Responsible for financial leadership, analytics, budgeting, variance analysis, and decision support for Supply Chain and Procurement. Leads project and investment analyses for savings initiatives and capital projects. Develops indirect reports and conducts ad hoc financial analyses. Ensures adherence to accounting control standards and Primient financial policies.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and act as a trusted advisor to the VP and leadership teams within Supply Chain and Procurement.
  • Deliver actionable business insights and analytics across the Primient Supply Chain Network (Transportation, Warehousing, Inventory Management, S&OP) and the Procurement Network (Energy, Chemicals, Packaging, Plant Services, Indirect, and Global spend including Labor, Services, MRO, Warehousing, Tolling, and Capex).
  • Oversee procurement savings tracking, ensuring alignment with strategic and financial goals.
  • Partner with leaders to identify and implement process improvements and best practices across both networks.
  • Develop executive-ready management reporting and presentation materials to synthesize complex data into decision-ready insights.
  • Provide rigorous financial analysis and risk assessments for strategic and commercially sensitive initiatives, including capital and lease investments.
  • Lead monthly KPI reporting and analysis for Supply Chain and Procurement.
  • Lead annual planning and rolling forecasts for Supply Chain and Procurement, aligning targets with business priorities.
  • Ensure control and policy compliance, including minimum control standards and financial integrity across operations.
  • Directly support the management of the Operations Finance Center of Excellence (CoE) and guide the execution of functional strategy with the CoE leadership.
  • Provide leadership in complex problem solving and oversee extensive investigations and analyses as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Education:

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (required);
    Master’s degree in Business Administration or related field (preferred); CPA or equivalent certification (preferred).
  • Experience:

    5–10 years of progressive finance experience; experience interacting with senior executives (required); experience in Plant Controllership and/or FP&A roles (preferred).
  • Knowledge:
    Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); working knowledge of SAP and Workday ERP systems; business acumen across Operations, Supply Chains, and Procurement.
  • Skills:

    Strong judgment and decision-making, analytical thinking, excellent verbal and written communication, time management, budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, financial modeling, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to translate complex financial concepts for non-finance audiences; proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Experience and Requirements
  • 5-10 years of progressive finance experience (required).

The annual pay range is $ - $ and is bonus eligible. Compensation is determined based on experience, skills, and alignment with role responsibilities. The interview process will discuss fit within the pay range.
