Bookkeeper/ Accounting Clerk, Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Job Description
Our company is currently seeking a part-time, in-office Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to join our team! This is a direct reporting position to the President/CEO. You will be responsible for preparing and examining financial transactions and records in addition to performing general office duties for 20-30 hours per week. The approximate time breakdown looks like this:
- Bookkeeping/Accounting - 80%
- General Office - 20%
Responsibilities:
- Accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Banking and general ledger; foreign exchange (FX) transactions
- Customer invoicing and collections; checking the accuracy of business transactions
- Performing data entry and administrative duties as required
- Inventory review and depreciation
- Working with third-party accountants and auditors
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience working with an ERP system;
Sage 300 would be ideal - Fundamental knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP)
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and Outlook
- Proficient in using online business banking platforms (bill pay, ACH/wire transfers)
- Experience with Quicken software a plus
