About Our Client

This firm is a well-established general contractor with a strong portfolio of public and municipal building projects throughout Chicagoland and the surrounding suburbs. Their work includes K12 schools, fire stations, municipal facilities, and community buildings for local governments and public agencies. Known for quality craftsmanship and consistent delivery, the company has built long-term relationships with school districts, municipalities, and architects.

Job Description
  • Assist with cost tracking, budgeting, and monthly reporting
  • Manage submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, and document control
  • Support coordination with municipal owners, architects, and inspectors
  • Assist with subcontractor buyout and change order processing
  • Help manage schedules, closeout documentation, and project turnover

The Successful Applicant
  • 2-5 years of experience in commercial, institutional, or public construction
  • Exposure to K12, municipal, or public building projects preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
