Builtech is currently seeking an Estimator ready to join our fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

* Process RFP, RFQ and internal pricing requests and facilitate broadcast announcements of bidding opportunities.

* Analyze drawings and specifications.

* Competently draft, proof, audit, and deliver proposals.

* Solicit and engage subcontractors to provide proposals.

* Qualify subcontractor proposals for completeness and compliance with project documents.

* Ensure Builtech's compliance with bidding regulations and goals for each project.

* Maintain relationships with clients and subcontractors.

* Work on multiple client bids simultaneously and deliver in accordance with deadline objectives.

* Identify and execute strategic opportunities within a proposal to optimize Builtech's position in securing work.

Requirements:

* Ideally 3-6 years of construction experience

* Experience with internet-based bidding sites is preferred (Building Connected, Gradebeam, Smart Bid, etc)

* Proficient with Microsoft (Outlook, Excel and Word) and Blue Beam

* Effective communication and ability to work independently.

* Must be able to multitask; handling many diverse projects at once while meeting deadlines.

* Ability to remain in a stationary position 95% of the time

* The ability to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer keyboards, copy machines, and computer printers

* The ability to occasionally lift and carry lightweight office items like supplies or equipment

* Valid driver's license
