The OpportunityAs a Community Associate, you’ll work closely with new and existing customers across a variety of industries. You will create and maintain a supportive community within your centre, handling all administrative and support needs so customers can focus on running their businesses.
A Typical Day at IWGYou arrive a few minutes before the centre opens to ensure everything is ready and that the cleaners have not missed anything.
Throughout the morning, customers arrive for a range of needs: changing Wi‑Fi codes, inquiring about packages, seeking directions to meeting rooms, and setting up projectors. You respond to each request and connect incoming calls to other customers as needed.
All services are verified and invoiced accurately to keep records up to date.
You take quick coffee breaks to relax and recharge.
The mail arrives; you sort it while continuing to handle customer requests, including emailing a customer about a pending package in their mailbox.
You help a customer with printing, process another’s invoice, and open a service portal ticket when a team room is too hot.
After another coffee break, you sit with the Community Manager to plan next week’s networking event, draft e‑invitations, and create posters for the notice boards.
A prospective member visits during the event; you share details of the space and encourage them to join the network.
At day’s end, you gather a large group in meeting room 3, suggest a nearby restaurant for lunch, and tidy the centre before heading home.
