Customer Service Representative:
In office 2-3 days/week

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by supporting customers with their insurance servicing needs. This role manages multiple communication channels, processes a variety of policy service requests, and utilizes agency and carrier systems to ensure accurate, timely, and professional support. The CSR builds trust with customers and internal teams through strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Salary Range: $40,000-$45,000

In this position you will:

  • Handle incoming customer inquiries (calls, emails) and provide service/support to policyholders
  • Process routine policy changes/Provide professional customer support by responding to phone calls, emails, and general inquiries, ensuring a positive experience and addressing routine service needs.
  • Process standard service requests such as document requests, billing questions, and administrative tasks while accurately updating the agency management system.
  • Navigate agency and carrier systems to retrieve information, upload documents, manage inboxes/voicemails, and route tasks or issues to licensed team members as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance, documenting all customer interactions, following established workflows, and escalating coverage-related or advisory questions to licensed staff.
  • Support team operations through general task management, coordination with carriers and internal teams, and ongoing learning about insurance products, processes, and systems.

Qualifications:

  • Insurance license preferred but not required (we will support licensing).
  • Previous insurance experience preferred but not required.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
