About the Position
Ensemble Music Schools is seeking a fun, experienced, and professional piano instructor to teach part-time at Schaumburg Music Academy, our Schaumburg, IL location. Instructors will teach in person and set their availability within our open hours. Consistency is appreciated by students and school staff.
Responsibilities- Teach piano lessons to students of all skill levels.
- Set and adhere to availability within open hours.
- Maintain punctuality and consistent lesson scheduling.
- Strong music background evidenced by a degree in music performance, pedagogy, or equivalent performing experience.
- Demonstrated love of teaching and experience working with young musicians.
- Reliable transportation and ability to pass a routine background check.
Instructor pay commensurate with experience and will be in the range of $25-30 per hour. A 401(K) program with employer matching is available to all employees after 30 days on the job. Health benefit options are available for all part- and full-time employees.
