Roosevelt University College of Science, Health and Pharmacy Doctor of Pharmacy Program, Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences, Schaumburg, IL, is seeking applications for an Academic Fellow, appointed as a full-time, year-round, non-tenure track Instructor position. This position is a 2-year visiting faculty appointment designed to provide training and experiences to prepare the individual for a full faculty appointment. Clinical responsibilities are consistent with experiences provided in a PGY1 residency and teaching responsibilities include clinical precepting and didactic course assignments.
This faculty position reports to the Academic Fellowship Director and includes teaching, scholarship, and service responsibilities.
Position responsibilities include teaching and coordinating assigned didactic courses, supporting clinical labs and workshops, and additional teaching as assigned by the Director, rotating through assigned clinical practice sites, serving as a preceptor and role model for students, mentoring pharmacy and medical residents, collaborative clinical and academic research or other scholarly activity appropriate for a non-tenure track position, and service to the department, college, university, and community.
