Special Education Teacher

Special Education Teachers (Elementary & Middle School)

• Multiple Openings Available
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week
• Start Date: ASAP
• Assignment End Date: May 26, 2027
• Compensation: $50–55+/hr based on experience (W-2)

• Provide specialized instruction and support to students in TK–8th grade
• Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with student IEPs
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, families, and school staff
• Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with IEP requirements
• Foster a structured, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

• Valid Illinois PEL w/ LBS1 appropriate for the assigned grade level
• Experience working with students with disabilities preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team
