RF Project Engineer - Power Amplifiers

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Project Engineer to join our team, specializing in the development of Power Amplifier products (less than 100 watts) within the Land Mobile Radio (LMR) segment. This role is critical in designing, developing, and optimizing RF solutions for public address and public safety applications. The successful candidate will lead engineering efforts, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and testing of RF Power Amplifiers with power levels below 100 watts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct simulations and analyses to optimize amplifier performance and reliability.
  • Oversee the integration of RF components into larger systems, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production and field issues.
  • Stay updated with advancements in RF technology and incorporate relevant innovations into product designs.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, documentation, and project updates to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in RF design and project management, particularly with Power Amplifiers.
  • Strong understanding of RF principles, circuit design, and simulation tools.
  • Experience with Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems and public safety communication standards is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred

Skills:

  • Proficiency in using RF simulation software (e.g., ADS, HFSS).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for public safety communications.
  • Hands-on experience with RF testing equipment and methodologies.
