Applied Technology is a prototyping center within Motorola Solutions. We specialize in proof-of-concept and low-volume advanced communications products for government and industry customers. Our Automated Test group partners with cross-functional teams to deliver robust testing capabilities, ensuring the delivery of high-reliability products. We cultivate a collaborative, customer-centric culture that drives continuous innovation and professional growth.

Provide critical technical support to ensure peak performance of the Applied Technology Automated Test system. Collaborate cross-functionally with Equipment Manager, Manufacturing, and Engineering to maintain strict equipment calibration standards.

Specific tasks include the following:

• Build and wire complex test harnesses and fixtures based on technical specifications.
• Maintain ATE systems through regular MOL activities and proactive system health checks.
• Troubleshoot basic automated test failures to minimize downtime and ensure reliable data collection.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage equipment calibration schedules and maintain accurate documentation.
• Foundational knowledge of RF and analog systems.
• Proficiency in operating standard test equipment, including Signal Generators, Power Supplies, Power Meters, Network Analyzers, and Spectrum Analyzers.
• Working knowledge of Python programming for automated tasks.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities across multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

$51,700 - $76,700 USD. Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years of relevant work experience are required for this position.

The ability to demonstrate printed circuit board assembly experience to include soldering of surface mount, through-hole, and wire technology.

U.S. Citizenship required as well as the ability to obtain necessary security clearance as required by government contractors.
