Overview

As a Financial Consultant at Schwab, you will be responsible for sourcing existing Schwab clients, providing them with wealth management and financial planning advice. Over time, you’ll grow your practice holistically through client asset consolidation, networking, and client referrals. If you currently have your securities license, enjoy working in a team setting, and share our passion for serving clients, this role is for you.

Required Qualifications
  • A valid and active FINRA Series 7 license
  • Obtaining or acquiring FINRA Series 66 (or 63/65) license and Life & Health Insurance during your tenure on the job
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to build strong relationships, engage and encourage trust, and deepen client relationships through focused communication strategies and exceeding client expectations
  • Strong candidates will learn to leverage our team of Schwab specialists, Schwab advice guidelines, knowledge of the markets, and ability to inspire action that helps clients progress toward achieving their goals
  • Openness to manage wealth on behalf of clients including:
    Retirement Planning, Education Planning, Investment Management, Banking & Lending Management, Insurance & Risk Management, and Estate Planning
  • Ability to adapt and implement change as market and business conditions evolve
  • Passion for community engagement to share and engage clients in discussions about market conditions, sound investing principles, and ideal wealth and long-term investment strategies for their personal situation
  • Desire to provide an outstanding investor experience in addition to furthering your own professional development in Wealth Management

Pursuant to SAFE Act requirements, all employees engaged in residential loan mortgage originations must register with the NMLS registry system and remain in good standing. You will be required to register and submit to the required SAFE Act background check and registration process.
