General Description: Entry-level role in the Benefit Administration team. Responsible for providing administration and analytical support to senior team members. Gain understanding of the design, operations, and regulations governing defined benefit plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage pension requests. Includes first calculation/paperwork for active plans, data inquiries, and updates.
  • Reconcile participant data changes and year end reporting.
  • Work directly with clients and respond to participant questions.
  • Analyze calculation breakpoints. Includes identification and testing.
  • Create or run participant data reports. Analyze and manipulate data files.
  • Review and approve payments to participants.
  • Meet the company’s CRM case efficiency and accuracy metrics.
  • Participate in an out-of-scope project. Includes Plan Termination, TV Buyout, and new client implementation.
  • Conduct work with a high level of quality and efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, business, finance, or related field preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of pension plans.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to analyze and understand large data sets.
  • Strong problem solving and systematic thinking skills. Includes ability to breakdown calculations specific to client plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and independently.

Annual salary range is $45,000 - $50,000, plus potential compensation incentives.
