Import Billing Specialist

Bradley David Associates is seeking an experienced Import Billing Specialist to support a reputable and growing logistics organization in Schaumburg, IL
.

The ideal candidate will have strong data entry accuracy,billing experience, and knowledge of import documentation and logistics operations to ensure timely file processing and accurate financial management.

Responsibilities

• Track shipments in the system to ensure filesare opened the same day as receipt
• Open files in the operating system according to company priority
• Pull EDI records when required and coordinatewith the data center if EDI is missing
• Pull AIC charges and shipment information asneeded
• Manage accounts payable functions using accounting software
• Research and audit the expense-not-billed report received from corporate
• Work closely with Import, Accounting, and Customer Service teams to ensure billing accuracy and compliance

• Experience in import billing, accounts payable,or logistics billing operations
• Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or import operations preferred
• Understanding of Bills of Lading, EDI processes,and shipment documentation
