Pay Rate: $19-$25/hour (W2) (Based on experience and education)
Job SummaryAs a Patient Services Representative II (PSR II), you are the first point of contact for patients seeking routine or life-impacting healthcare services. You’ll combine technical expertise with compassionate care, performing high-quality blood collections while building trust and confidence with every patient. WhatYou’ll Do
- Perform venipuncture, capillary, paediatric, geriatric, and forensic collections with precision and professionalism
- Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring labelling accuracy and compliance
- Verify patient demographic information and obtain signatures post-collection
- Provide clear explanations to patients to ease anxiety and ensure a positive experience
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality
- Keep your workspace safe, clean, and organized
- Support multiple sites as a floater when needed, with flexible travel and schedules
- Meet productivity and quality standards in a high-volume, dynamic environment
- Experience: 1–3 years phlebotomy experience (paediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections required);
Patient Service Centre experience preferred - Education & Certification: High School Diploma or GED required;
Phlebotomy Certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA);
Medical Assistant or Paramedic training a plus - Skills: Excellent phlebotomy technique, strong attention to detail, superior customer service, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, adaptability, and professional judgment
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (required for float assignments)
