Phlebotomist

Duration: 03 Month Contract (Possibility of extension or conversion)

Shift: M, T, W, Fri. 8 am-1 pm, Every Sat 7 am-1 pm/Central Zone

Pay Rate: $19-$25/hour (W2) (Based on experience and education)

As a Patient Services Representative II (PSR II), you are the first point of contact for patients seeking routine or life-impacting healthcare services. You’ll combine technical expertise with compassionate care, performing high-quality blood collections while building trust and confidence with every patient. • Perform venipuncture, capillary, paediatric, geriatric, and forensic collections with precision and professionalism
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring labelling accuracy and compliance
• Verify patient demographic information and obtain signatures post-collection
• Provide clear explanations to patients to ease anxiety and ensure a positive experience
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality
• Keep your workspace safe, clean, and organized
• Support multiple sites as a floater when needed, with flexible travel and schedules
• Meet productivity and quality standards in a high-volume, dynamic environment

• Experience: 1–3 years phlebotomy experience (paediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections required);
  Patient Service Centre experience preferred
• Education & Certification: High School Diploma or GED required;
  Phlebotomy Certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA);
  Medical Assistant or Paramedic training a plus
• Skills: Excellent phlebotomy technique, strong attention to detail, superior customer service, multitasking in a fast-paced environment, adaptability, and professional judgment
• Transportation: Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean driving record (required for float assignments)
